1. The
Tournament is sanctioned by the Scottish Lawn Tennis Association and will be
conducted under the Laws, Rules and Regulations of the Lawn Tennis Association.
2. Entries with full remittance for
Entrance, Association and Programme Fees must reach the Referree, Miss Kirsty
Farnan, 46 Pleasance Court, Dundee, Angus DD1 5BB by Monday, 15th August.
Cheques should be made payable to 'Dundee
Confined Tennis Tournament'. Late entries will not be accepted.
3. The draw will take place at 7.30 pm at 57
Dalkeith Road, Dundee, on Friday 19th August 2011
4. All
matches (with the exception of under-12) shall be the best of three sets.
Tie-breaks will operate in the first two sets if the score reaches six-all in
either set. Under-12 competitors will play the best of 3 short sets.
5. Competitors must wear proper tennis shoes,
to the satisfaction of the Referee, and appropriate tennis clothing.
6. The Committee reserves the right to alter
any rule or condition, or to modify or add to this programme in any way they
may think fit, and to increase or reduce the value of the prizes.
7. The Committee will refuse to draw the
name of any entrant whose entrance fee has not been paid.

10. No complaint in connection with the
Tournament can be entertained by the Committee unless made in writing and
lodged with the Secretary of the Tournament within 48 hours of the occurrence
of the cause of same. No application for leave to appeal against any decisions
of the Committee can be entertained by the Council of the Scottish Lawn Tennis
Association unless made in writing and lodged with the Secretary of the
Association within 10 days after the receipt of such a decision by the
complainant.
11. Competitors must be available to play on
all days of the Tournament unless specific authority is obtained from
the Referee. Play shall commence from
5.30pm on weekdays and 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Finals’ day on Sunday
4th September will commence at 12 noon.
12. The Referee will schedule play around
Henderson Vase league matches on each Monday.
13. No Player may enter more than 4 events
in total unless specific authority is obtained from the Referee.
14. The Draw will be advertised on the
Craigmuir TC website each morning until Finals’ Day. If, for any reason, it
doesn’t appear on the website, players will be phoned as necessary.
15. Players must report to the tournament
Referee 15 minutes before the scheduled time of their match.
16. Refreshments will be provided by the host
club.
